4. Add the chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, and garlic. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
5. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.
6. Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
7. Add the drained rice and soya chunks. Mix gently to combine with the spice mixture.
8. Add 2 cups of water and salt to taste. Stir well and bring to a boil.
9. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the pulao cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water has evaporated.
