Ingredients:
– 1 cup Godhumai Rava (Wheat Rava)
– 2 cups water
– 1 onion, finely chopped
– 1 green chili, finely chopped
– 1/2-inch ginger, finely chopped
– A handful of curry leaves
– A handful of cashew nuts
– 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
– 1/2 tsp urad dal
– 1/2 tsp chana dal
– 2 tbsp oil
– Salt to taste
– Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Recipe:
1. In a pan, dry roast the Godhumai Rava over low heat until it turns golden brown and aromatic. Set it aside.
2. In the same pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds. Once they start to splutter, add urad dal and chana dal. Cook until they turn golden brown.
3. Add cashew nuts and sauté until they become golden. Then, add chopped onion, green chili, ginger, and curry leaves. Cook until the onions turn translucent.
4. Pour in 2 cups of water and add salt to taste. Bring the water to a boil.
5. Once the water is boiling, gradually add the roasted Godhumai Rava and stir continuously to avoid lumps. Cover the pan and let the Upma cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes.
6. Once the Rava is cooked and the water is absorbed, fluff it with a fork and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
