Welcome to Ruby Ka Kitchen, where we bring you mouth-watering recipes that are easy to make and incredibly delicious. Today, we are going to talk about how to make Laccha Paratha, also known as flaky layered lachedar paratha, a popular Indian flatbread that is perfect for any meal.

Ingredients:
– 2 cups of whole wheat flour
– 1 cup of all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon of salt
– 1 tablespoon of ghee or oil
– Water, as needed
– Extra ghee or oil for frying

Recipe:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and all-purpose flour.
2. Add the salt and ghee or oil to the flour mixture.
3. Gradually add water to the flour mixture and knead it into a smooth and firm dough.
4. Divide the dough into small, evenly-sized balls.
5. Roll out each ball into a thin, flat disc using a rolling pin.
6. Brush the surface of each disc with ghee or oil and sprinkle a little bit of flour on top.
7. Make small, even cuts along the edges of the disc, leaving the center untouched.
8. Start to roll the disc from one end to the other, creating a long, thin strip of dough.
9. Coil the strip of dough into a spiral shape and tuck the end underneath.
10. Gently flatten the spiral with your palm and roll it out into a flat disc again.
11. Heat a skillet or tava over medium heat and place the rolled out paratha on it.
12. Cook the paratha for a minute or two on one side, then flip it over and cook for another minute or two until both sides are golden brown.
13. Brush the cooked paratha with ghee or oil and serve hot.
