Spinach and Aloo Biryani is one of the delicious rice dish made up of Spinach, Aloo and Indian Spices. This is served with raita or curd.Long grain basmati rice is main key ingredient of this dish.
Ingredients – ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು – सामग्रियां :
Butter – ಬೆಣ್ಣೆ – मक्खन – 3 tbs Potato – ಆಲೂಗಡ್ಡೆ – आलू – 3, chopped Paneer – ಪನ್ನೀರ್ – पनीर – 50g, optional Onion – ಈರುಳ್ಳಿ – प्याज – 1, thinly sliced Onion – ಈರುಳ್ಳಿ – प्याज – 1/2, chopped Ghee – ತುಪ್ಪ – घी – 6 tbs Cumin Seeds – ಜೀರಿಗೆ – जीरा – 1 tbs Green Chili, Ginger and Garlic Paste – ಮೆಣಸಿನಕಾಯಿ ಶುಂಠಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳ್ಳುಳ್ಳಿ ಪೇಸ್ಟ್ – हरी मिर्च , अदरक और लहसुन का पेस्ट – 1.5 tbs Salt – ಉಪ್ಪು – नमक – to taste Turmeric Powder – ಅರಿಶಿನ ಪುಡಿ – हल्दी – 1 tbs Biryani Masala Powder – ಬಿರಿಯಾನಿ ಮಸಾಲ ಪುಡಿ – बिरयानी मसाला पाउडर – 1 tbs Cumin Powder – ಜೀರಿಗೆ ಪುಡಿ – जीरा पाउडर – 1 tbs Coriander Powder – ಕೊತ್ತಂಬರಿ ಪುಡಿ – धनिया पाउडर – 1 tbs Mint – ಪುದೀನಾ – पुदीना – handfull, chopped Coriander/Cilantro – ಕೊತ್ತಂಬರಿ – धनिया – chopped Curd – ಮೊಸರು – दही – 1 cup
Spinach – ಪಾಲಕ್ – पालक – 1 bunch, chopped
For Rice: Bay Leaf – ಲವಂಗದ ಎಲೆ – तेज पत्ता Black Pepper – ಕರಿಮೆಣಸು – काली मिर्च – 5 to 6 Star Anise – ಚಕ್ರ ಮೊಗ್ಗು – चक्रफूल – 1 Cinnamon – ಚಕ್ಕೆ – दालचीनी – 1 inch Cloves – ಲವಂಗ – लौंग – 2 Cardamom – ಏಲಕ್ಕಿ – इलायची – 2 Salt – ಉಪ್ಪು – नमक – to taste Ghee – ತುಪ್ಪ – घी – 1 tbs
Basmati Rice – ಬಾಸುಮತಿ ಅಕ್ಕಿ – बासमती चावल – 1.5 cups
