Sagu or kurma recipes explained in this video with Kannada narration and English subtitles. 2 very popular sagu or kurma recipes are explained in this video. The first one is veg sagu recipes, which is prepared in Bengaluru or Karnataka hotels. The second one is white Kurma, which is generally prepared in Tamilnadu. Both the kurmas taste too good and can be served with either poori or chapati or dosa. These sagu or kurma recipes are prepared using mixed vegetables. The ingredients for grinding are given below for the quick reference.
1. Hotel style vegetable sagu: 1/2 cup grated coconut, 1cm length ginger, 3 cloves garlic, 1 tsp coriander seeds, 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, 2 tbsp roasted gram / hurigadale, 1 tsp poppy seeds / gasagase, 1 – 2 green chili, 1/2 finger length cinnamon. 4-5 cloves, 1 cardamom, 2 tbsp coriander leaves, 1tbsp pudina leaves.
2. White kurma: 3/4 cup grated coconut, 12 – 15 cashews, 1/2 tsp fennel seeds or sompu, 1 tsp poppy seeds / gasagase, 1 – 2 green chili, 1 tsp oil
